Spain travel guide
Spain's big draws are Madrid's museums, Barcelona's architecture and beaches, and the Moorish palaces of Andalusia, all linked by one of Europe's largest high-speed rail networks.
Best time to visit Spain
Spring (April to June) and autumn (September to October) are ideal for cities and Andalusia.
July and August are very hot inland, especially in Madrid, Seville and Córdoba, while the coasts are at their busiest. Winters are mild in the south and on the Canary Islands.
Getting to Spain
Madrid-Barajas (MAD) and Barcelona-El Prat (BCN) are the main international hubs. Málaga (AGP), Seville (SVQ), Valencia (VLC) and Palma (PMI) have many European flights.
